The voting for the Preditors & Editors Reader Poll Award for 2014 is nearly over. By tomorrow, I’ll know if The House on Serpent Lake placed. The top ten novels in each category – mystery, romance, horror, etc – receive an award.
While awards are not supposed to be of such importance, I’m watching the clock for the poll closing countdown. So check back tomorrow or Friday. If I’ve placed at all in the top ten, I’ll proudly announce it. If not, I’ll quietly slink out of town.
Wish me luck!
The House on Serpent Lake
When her husband inherits his abandoned childhood home on a north woods lake, Lindsay Peterson is delighted. Until . . .
Strange things happen when she sees the decaying house for the first time: she knows how the rooms are arranged, knows of a gazebo that hasn’t existed for fifty years.
