Hi everyone. My publisher just released a Free First Chapter Chapbook as a promotional tool. So if anyone would like to read the first chapters of my books for free, simply send an email to me:
and enter the word, Chapbook, on the subject line, and I’ll send the pdf file which includes the first chapters from Beyond the Quiet, Ten Times Guilty, and Plot Your Way to Publication.
I think it’s a great idea and I’d love to share it with you.
KVCR, a PBS station for California’s Inland Empire and Desert Cities, is running a three-month series on the impact of the financial crisis in the form of a weekly live call-in program titled, “It’s Your Call.”
Each week a new focal topic has included experts from the financial markets, health care systems, teachers, and others to answer your questions. Questions have included emergency assistance for families in financial crisis, hospital care for those with or without insurance, social security, and other topics concerning California citizens.
Join host Roger Bowman as he asks the experts how to survive, how to protect ourselves, and maybe even how to thrive financially during this uncertain time. The one-hour program, It’s Your Call, airs Fridays at 7pm on KVCR, the Inland Empire PBS station, broadcasting on channel 24 in Digital, DirecTv and Dish networks.
And my interest – other than a concerned citizen? Roger is my son.

Introducing & signing her new novel, Beyond the Quiet
After twenty-five years of marriage, Lisa Montgomery thinks her husband’s death is the worst that can happen. A month later, she receives a notice about her husband’s secret post office box.
Beyond the Quiet shares one woman’s struggle though loss, bitterness, and betrayal, learning to cherish each moment and follow her long-buried dreams. It’s the story of how a quiet, passionless widow becomes spirited enough to climb onto her lover’s shoulders for a piggyback ride in the nude.
A great read! Ms Hill is a cross between Iris Johansen and Nora Roberts. The tension kept me spellbound until the end.
